Musical Chairs With Hula Hoops  

Needs: Hula Hoops.

Music: Music to stop and start.

Setup:  Place all hula hoops on the floor creating a circle. 

Gameplay: Once the music starts, everyone starts walking in a circle (in the same direction). Everyone continues to walk until the music stops, once the music stops each player must find their own hula hoop. If one cannot find a hula hoop for themself they are out. If there is more than one person in a hula hoop everyone in the hula hoop is out. Those that found themselves their own hula hoop continue playing in the next round. As the game progresses, a hula hoop is removed from the circle each round. The game continues until there is one person left.

 

Hula Hoop Contest 

Needs: As many hula hoops as there are people.

Music: Right Round.

Setup: Give everyone playing one hula hoop.

Gameplay: Once the music starts everyone starts to hula hoop. The music continues until the last person drops the hula hoop. If the game has lasted for about a minute and there are some players who have kept hula hooping the entire time then commands are introduced. Players can be asked to walk around, jump, turn around, get down on a knee, or put their arms through the hula hoop. Whoever can hula hoop the longest will win a prize. 

Hula Hoop Around The Circle 

Needs: 1 – 3 hula hoops.

Music: Music to stop and start.

Setup: Have everyone stand in a circle and hold hands. Then put one or more (based on the number of people) hula hoops through the player's arms. 

Gameplay: Once the music starts the hula hoops must be passed around the circle without breaking hands. When the music stops whoever has a hula hoop around them is out. If the hula hoop is between two people then whoever had it last is out.

Limbo 

Needs: Limbo Stick.

Music: Island music.

Setup: Have two people hold a limbo stick up. Create a line of all the players.

Gameplay: Have one person go under the limbo stick at a time. Start with the stick high and each time the first in line returns to the limbo stick, the stick will lower. The last person who can make it under the stick wins.

Coke And Pepsi 

Needs:  

Music: 

Setup: Have everyone find a partner. Split the partners up, one partner joins a line on the left, the other joins the line on the right. Finally, introduce what each soda means.

Gameplay: Call out different soda names. Whoever does the wrong action or does it last is out. The last pair standing wins.

Coke: Run to the left.

Pepsi: Run to the right.

Sprite: Freeze!

Dr. Pepper: Run to the middle.
